How long does an MVP engagement take?
Most MVP projects are live within 5 to 10 business days of the scoping call. Simpler ideas can go faster. More complex products with multiple user roles or integrations may take 2 to 3 weeks. I'll give you a realistic timeline in the brief, not an optimistic one.
Do I need to know what I'm building before I reach out?
No. The scoping call is specifically designed to help you figure that out. Come with a problem, a user, and a hypothesis. I'll help you turn that into a scope.
What do you need from me during a build?
About 30 to 60 minutes a day to review iterations and give feedback. The faster your feedback, the faster the product moves. You don't need to be technical. You need to know your users.
Who owns the product when we're done?
You do. Completely. The Lovable project, the Supabase database, the domain. I hand everything over at the end of the engagement with documentation so you or any developer can take it forward.
Do you work with nonprofits?
Yes, and I'm particularly interested in civic tech and mental health platform work. The Mental Health Hub network came out of personal conviction. If your project has community impact, let's talk about what's possible.
Are you available for in-person work in Calgary?
Yes. I'm Calgary-based and happy to work in person for local clients, especially for workshops and scoping sessions. Most of my builds are remote-friendly, but face-to-face has its advantages for the early conversations.
